(1) Helmet with Visor – Rear Vents

Helmet: Attached visor with ventilation vents at the back.

Helmet Brim: Has a visor pocket. Two rear Velcro straps thread through the rear helmet vents for a secure fit.

(2) Rounded Helmet with Visor – Flat Back

Helmet: Rounded shape with an attached visor and a flat back.

Helmet Brim: Has a visor pocket and uses strong gripper elastic to hold the brim securely to the helmet. No adhesive Velcro required and leaves no sticky residue.

(3) Round Helmet – No Visor – Front & Back Vents

Helmet: Round helmet with no visor and ventilation vents at the front and back.

Helmet Brim: Uses 4 Velcro straps (2 front and 2 rear) threaded through the helmet vents for a secure fit.

(4) Skateboard Style Helmet – No Visor

Helmet: Round skateboard-style helmet with no visor, flat front and flat back.

Helmet Brim: Uses strong gripper elastic instead of adhesive Velcro. Quick to fit and remove, with no sticky residue left on your helmet.

(5) Round Helmet – No Visor – Rear Vents Only

Helmet: Round helmet with no visor, flat front and 2 rear ventilation vents.

Helmet Brim: Uses strong gripper elastic plus 2 rear Velcro straps threaded through the rear vents for extra security.

The bicycle Helmet Brim is made out of heavy-duty shade cloth & its shape directs wind through and over the helmet, stopping wind drag. It won't blow off in gusty winds or at speed.

We purchased 2 x V Shape With Visor + 2 Velcro Straps for our bike helmets. They are absolutely fantastic for shade while riding. The front peak on our helmets is very small so I drilled a couple of small holes and secured the brim with small cable ties. Brims have been tests in 60km/hrs winds along the seaside bikeway with no problems. Great products.

Perfect

I had a DaBrim for a bit over a year. But it wasn’t easy to keep on my Helmet and would often flick back when I was riding downhill. One day it blew off my helmet when I was riding on a busy road at night & I could not retrieve it. Thankfully, that loss led me to this awesome brim. I ride 42km return 4 days a week to work. I’ve had this brim on my helmet for 3 weeks & it is perfect. Keeps my glasses dry in the rain and protects from the strong QLD sun. Plus it does not move, even on fast downhills or in wind. Highly recommend getting one of these brims. I also love that it is Aussie made. It suits our unique conditions

Helmet brim

Unfortunately the brim didn’t work well for me, it sat too high on the helmet and didn’t slope down on the front and back like in the pictures. I tried to bed it to shape but unfortunately damaged the brim in the process so ended up disposing of the brim.
